Play activities for the Early Years

This brilliant resource for the Early Years contains over 140 activities covering the entire foundation stage.  It is full of fun ideas to encourage purposeful play with a chapter for each of the six areas covered in the Early Learning Goals. Each chapter contains 15-20 practical play activities, together with a chart showing clearly which activity covers which learning opportunity.  The activity pages are clearly laid out and well illustrated, making the book easy to use. The book is fully photocopiable and the activity sheets can be used in curriculum planning,  given to staff and new assistants to help them understand the purposes of play activities in the setting and placed on display boards to inform parents, together with examples of children's work.
